The UK Church Administrator Network is organising a training day for church administrators in Plymouth in April.
Taking place at St Andrew’s Church, Plymouth on Thursday, April 28, the theme for the day is ‘Developing Our Role’. There will be opportunity to develop your skills, improve effectiveness as church workers and network with others.
The workshop is being run by UCAN, the UK Church Administrator Network. UCAN is a growing network of over 1,200 Church Administrators which seeks to equip and encourage all those employed by local churches in this specialised ministry.
The cost of the day is £37 for members (£47 non-members) with a £5 discount for group bookings.
John Truscott, UCAN co-ordinator, said: “We have a range of resources available to members, events, local groups, a distance learning course run with St John’s Nottingham, monthly emailings, and more. Our membership is quite small in Cornwall but we would like to encourage more administrators in the Diocese of Truro to join. If you join before the workshop, you will benefit from the member discount.
