On what do we place our authority as those who are ordained and how do we continue to shape our understanding of authority? One of the implications for the Anglican Methodist Covenant is to ask the Church of England to look again at the possibility of the mutual recognition of ministries. On this day Bishop Tim will explore some of the traditional understandings of priesthood and enable those present to reflect on why they believe as they do and on what theological presuppositions views are held.
The day is open to all whether ordained or not and will especially focus on the different views on ordination between Anglicans and Methodists.
Bishop Tim is the Bishop of Truro.
